That person loves you. They hold very deep feelings for you, now, they might keep those feelings under control. I feel that they do not show or express their love toward you because they sense some toxicity here. I am sorry love and remember it can relate to today but it can also relate to the past. They love you but they see toxicity within you that they want to keep at arm’s length. For most, it is some codependency issues you have or had if you have been working on yourself. Or it could also be some type of addiction affecting your life. So, should you give this relationship another try? Well, I would say that you first need to invest in your relationship with yourself. Depending on where you are on your journey, and how much work you have done on yourself and your self-love then the answer would be different.
